General

These icons are found in the upper right of all the screens in the application.

Opening of the contextual menu providing access to the online help and the CARL Berger-Levrault support site (if you have Internet access).

 

The icon below can be accessed by clicking on your name (name of the user logged in at the top right of the screen):


Logs off the application, for example in order to open a new connection.

Search

From a search form, the pull-down menu of this icon gives access to the custom filter and advanced filter functions.
From a search form, when you click on this icon, you clear all the entered criteria (reset the filter).
This icon directly opens the detail form of the element for which you have entered the exact code.
From a search form, clicking on this icon opens the [Results] tab.
You can also click directly on the [Results] tab or press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

Result

From a result form, the pull-down menu of this icon gives you access to the custom filter and advanced filter functions.
The pull-down list to its right contains predefined filters.
In a list, this icon enables additional filters and can be used to perform an advanced sort.
From a result form, this icon is used to create data highlighting.
The drop-down list to its right contains the previously defined highlighting.

Validation, cancellation, and update

By clicking on this icon:
  • If you are in a detail form, to change or create a sheet, you record the data that you have entered -> the application returns to the previous form.
  • If you are in a selection form, you confirm your selection
    →The application closes the form and returns to your original form where the selection is taken into account.

By clicking on this icon, you close the current form without recording the entered data and return to the previous form.

This icon is used to update the data displayed on the screen, taking into account the changes made since the form was opened.
Clicking on this icon records the current data without closing the form.

Actions

This icon displays a pull-down menu:
This icon lists the possible actions on the current form: Inventory the item, Declare an inventory outage, and so on
This icon lists the possible actions on the current sub-list: Add to favorites, Convert into POs, Export data, Global update.
This icon is linked to the life cycle of elements. It is used to make a status change (e.g. validate a work order) and display the status history; see changing the status of an element.
Adjusts the number of lines from the list displayed on a page so that several lines initially spread over several pages can be selected.
Displays the list of reports available for the current function or directly launches the default report; see Reports and printing.

Accessing additional items

Accessing tracking and history: View the estimate, Access to costs, History of components, and so on
Access to the linked documents for the element.
An insert on the icon (e.g. ) shows the number of documents present.
Access to the indicators of the screen.
An insert on the icon (e.g. ) shows the number of linked indicators.

Adding and deletion

Depending on the case, this icon opens:
  • A blank form to create a new element in the current function.
  • A search list for selecting elements to be added to a list.
    In this case, check the elements to be added and click on the confirm icon .
    In certain cases (Work order, for example), a pull-down menu offers various types of creation.
By clicking on this icon, you delete the elements that you have checked on a list.

Infozone: Value search

Depending on the case, this icon allows you to:
  1. Search and select a value to be filled in.
  • Press the [Ctrl] and [Space] keys simultaneously and the application will provide the first available values, then select the value to be filled in.
  • For an in-depth search, click on the magnifying glass . In this case, a result list is displayed:
    • You can refine the results by opening the search tab (see Search form)
    • You can select the element or elements that you wish:
      Selecting an element: check the corresponding radio button on the radio button.
      Multiple selection: Check the corresponding checkboxes, then click on the confirm icon .
    • You can sometimes even add and delete elements, because you are in the function.

 

  1. Search for equipment in a list or via the tree structure.
  • Selecting "Search in list" displays a list of results.
    • You can refine the results by opening the search tab (see Search form)
    • You can check the radio button corresponding to the desired equipment
    • You can sometimes even add and delete elements, because you are in the function.
  • Selecting "Search through tree structure" displays the tree structure for the equipment.
    • You can navigate through the tree structure
    • You can check the radio button corresponding to the desired equipment
    • You can sometimes even add and delete elements, because you are in the function.

 

The application stores, for a given infozone and user, the most recently used selection ("Search in list" or "Search through tree structure") and proposes it first.
  • If the value is already filled in, open its detail form. In this case, a pull-down menu allows you to choose between:
    • [Search] to select another one,
    • [Details] to display it.
  • Display the details of a comment when the comment occupies several lines.
Selecting a date: a calendar is then displayed; select the desired date.

Next/Previous

On a result form, these icons are used to go directly to the first or last page of results.
On a result form, these icons are used to browse from one page of results to another (previous or next.
On a detail form, these icons are used to navigate between the various elements of the list of results. They display the detail form of the next or previous element.
If you change the detail of an element, then move to another element on the list using these navigation arrows, your changes are automatically saved.
If the icon is greyed out, it is because you are at one end of the list.
