These principles are common to all detail screens; see also Icons and Keyboard shortcuts .

Opening the detail form of an entity

  1. Select the corresponding function from the menu (see Accessing functions ).
  2. Display the list of entities (see Search form and Result form ),
  3. Click on the code of the entity you wish to display and/or change.

Filling in the fields of a detail form

A detail form may include several sub-tabs. Be sure to go through all the sub-tabs when creating an element so as not to forget any important attributes.

You can access the documents linked to the current entity by clicking on the icon.

An insert on the icon (e.g. ) shows the number of documents present.

View data - information field

The area on the right of a detail screen contains sections for quick access to information related to the entity being viewed/changed. See Information field .

Hide the right-hand area

The central area of a detail screen can be maximized by hiding the area on the right containing the entity information. For this purpose:

Two configuration levels are saved for showing/hiding the information field of a detail screen:

- Level 1: The information field contains widgets (for example, work order details).

 - Level 2: The information field is empty and contains no widgets (e.g. system configuration).

The choice of whether or not to display the right-hand field is retained for all detail forms (depending on the level) for the user who performed the operation.

This breakdown into levels saves space for screens that have no information to be displayed in the information field.

Exporting data

If your form has a sub-list, you can export it to an Excel, CSV, or text file; see Exporting data.
