If your activities are geographically distributed, the concept of organization allows you to classify information by geographic site.
Associated rights management will limit access for certain users so that they only see the data relevant to them, see Organization group.

Thus, organizations allow you to compartmentalize the activities of different entities, according to your needs.

The following can be linked to an organization:

• All Equipment and associated Measurement points, as well as Structure points,
• Work requests, interventions, and participants, as well as work ranges, preventive plan templates and preventive plans,
• Warehouses for storage,
• Purchase requests and orders,
• Customers,
• Accounts (budgets and cost centers),
• Profiles and Users.

For each of these elements, you can choose global management or management by organization.
For all other information in the database, access will be independent of the organization.

An organization is essentially defined by an address and a contact.

 

Access the list of organizations

1. In the [System] module, select the [Organizations] feature.
   → The list of organizations is displayed.
   
   
2. Optionally switch to the [Criteria] tab, enter your search criteria, and click the [Result] tab.
   → The list of organizations matching the criteria is displayed.
   
   
3. Click the organization to edit or create a new organization directly by clicking the add icon .
   → The organization detail form is displayed, see Organization [General].
