A reading point is used to track a value of an asset or structure point: temperature, operating time, pressure, etc.

 

In this way you can:

• Track the costs generated by the consumption indicated by a meter,
• Set settings for triggering preventive work orders according to the value of the reading point.
• Display the graph of recorded values.

 

Linked reading points

In order to facilitate the updating of values, reading points can be linked together, in which case they will be updated automatically in cascade fashion when a single reading is entered (see Reading point [Links]).

 

Reading point templates

To facilitate the creation of similar reading points (same unit, same minimum value, same cost, etc.), you can define reading point templates (see Reading point templates).

 

Main reading point

You can declare a reading point as the "Main reading point" on the linked equipment.
In this way, this reading point will be offered in the "Reading" portion of the work order.
