The definition of the reading point template allows you to create new reading points more quickly and to ensure consistency between reading points having common characteristics.
The characteristics of the reading point template are common to all reading points defined on the basis of this template.
They cannot be changed on the reading point.
They cannot be changed on the reading point.
Accessing the "Reading point templates" function
- Place the cursor in the [Equipment] module and select [Reading point templates] from the [Reading] section.
→ The list of reading point templates is displayed.
Creating a reading point template
Prerequisites:
- To have configured the types of costs (for "Reading point" templates that generate a cost to be posted) and the units; see Values list.
Procedure:
- Click on the add icon
(also accessible from the result or detail form).
→ The reading point template detail form is displayed in creation mode; see Reading point template [General].
Changing a reading point template
- In the list of reading point templates, click on the reading point template to be changed.
→ The detail form of the reading point is displayed. See Reading point template [General].
Changes made to a reading point template may not be reflected in the reading points that inherit it if the user confirms the message they are prompted with.
