Links between readings points make it possible to reflect the readings taken at one reading point on other linked readings points.
This is useful if you have several pieces of equipment assigned to the same actual reading point:
You enter the measurement at the SOURCE reading point,
→ The measurement is generated automatically at the TARGET reading points, in cascade if applicable.
For example, you can deduct the fuel used according to the number of hours of operation.
This tab allows you to view and modify the links between reading points.
Lists of source/target reading points
The first list is that of the points that have this one as the target; the second is of those for which it is the source.
Add
You can add a link to a source/target reading point by clicking on the add icon
.
Deleting
You can delete the link to selected reading points by clicking on the delete icon
.
Validity of the link
When you move an equipment item in the tree structure (see Equipment tree structures), CARL Source checks the reading points linked to that item and automatically updates the links when possible.
If the context does not allow the links to be found automatically, a message asks to check whether the trend patterns (and therefore the linked reading points) need to be updated.
