An organization group is used to reflect an organizational breakdown (e.g. geographic, administrative) in CARL Source.
An organization group defines a set of access rights to data that belong to organizations.
An organization group is then assigned to the users of the system who must only see or modify the data of one or more organizations.
For example, if you have several work sites, including Paris and Lyon, you can define the following organization groups:
- PARIS: access to the data of the Paris site only for modification purposes.
- MOD-PARIS_LECT-LYON: access to the Paris data for modification purposes and the Lyon data for read only,
- MOD-PARIS_SANS: access to the Paris data and to data without a specified site for modification purposes.
