It is possible to configure two groups of types of Asset individuals so that they are treated as Asset specific at the detail record level and its associated processes (Work request, Work order, WO report)
Linear assets are arranged along an axis or route and are defined by kilometer markers or reference points. This information must be entered for assets belonging to the "LINEAR" grouping type in the "Streets" tab.

- Characteristic Management : Switch to the feature to manage the bulk addition, modification, and deletion of one or more Characteristics derived from the Asset, which may affect other equipment.
- Record Reading Points : Take a reading at a reading point Asset.
- View reading points : opens the list of reading points for the Asset.
- Position a Asset on a GIS map : Opens the GIS map and allows you to associate or modify the equipment’s location.
- Delete location: deletes the geometric data associated with the equipment.
- Pair a Asset on a GIS map : opens the GIS map and allows you to associate a GIS feature with the equipment.
- Unpair: removes the link between the CARL equipment and the GIS feature. The geometric data associated with the equipment is retained.
