A template allows you to group under a single entity the attributes common to several pieces of equipment.

A template is a specific item, and like the item, it can belong to a family and be managed in stock or not.

The template can be used for the definition of a Work order plan common to several pieces of equipment.

Depending on whether you consult the template in the [Equipment] module or in the [Stock] module, the information is presented differently, but it is the same element.

Template states

Status management allows you to keep track of templates that you no longer use, either temporarily or permanently.

• Active: The template is valid.
• Inactive: The template should no longer (or not yet) be associated with an equipment inventory number or structure point; it can be reactivated.
• Canceled: The template will never be used again. This status is irreversible.

Available actions

From the template detail sheet, select the corresponding action in the actions menu from the template detail:

• BOM enrichment: To complete the list of components depending on outputs made.
• Characteristics management: To access the mass management of characteristics on equipment: opens the feature with the template’s characteristics and all equipment linked to the template.

 

Available tracking

From the template detail sheet, select the corresponding tracking in the tracking/history menu from the template detail:

• View the cartography: To know which structure points and equipment inventory numbers are typed by this template.
• Equipment tracking: To view interventions carried out on the template.
• Remote assistance history: To view remote assistance reports linked to this template.
