This tab is used to fill in and view purchase and accounting information on the Asset.
Suppliers
- Supplier: Supplier who sold the Asset.
- Manufacturer: The Manufacturer of the Asset must be referenced in the CARL Source suppliers as a Manufacturer (check box).
- AFTER-SALES SERVICE: Supplier in charge of after-sales service. The supplier must be referenced as "after-sales service" (check box) in the CARL Source suppliers.
Purchasing
- Purchase date: Acquisition date of the Asset.
- PO reference: PO reference corresponding to the Asset.
- DL: Asset delivery note code for the linked order.
- Purchase value: Used to calculate the depreciation.
- Replacement value: Estimated value used to evaluate whether maintenance of the Asset is still justified or if it is better to replace it.
Renewal
- Annual increase: Annual percentage markup of the value for calculation of the replacement value.
- Service life: Theoretical service life.
- Budget: Budget to which the renewal purchase is allocated.
- Estimated replacement value: This value is equal to Purchase value * (1 + Annual increase/100) Service life, that is, application of the annual increase rate to the purchase value for the theoretical service life.
- Replacement date: Planned replacement date, initialized according to the purchase date and the theoretical service life.
- PR/PO: Asset renewal order number.
Depreciation
- Type: Indicates the mode used to calculate the residual value. This is a configurable values list. As standard, CARL Source calculates the residual value for linear and tapered depreciations.
- Time (in years): Number of years of depreciation.
- Start date: Start date for the depreciation calculation.
- Calculation year: This is the residual value as of 31 December of the calculation year that is displayed after clicking on the "Calculate" button.
- Residual value: Value calculated as a function of the purchase value, type, duration, start, and calculation year of the depreciation, according to current accounting standards.
