Several properties of the Asset may be initialized with those of its Template.

 

Procedure

1. Select a template from the detail form of the Asset.
   → A pop-up is displayed offering several initializations depending on the data filled in in the template.
   
   
2. Check the elements that you wish to see created or filled in automatically.
   → These elements are copied for the asset.

 

Characteristics

Characteristics of the template that have the "Copy" box checked are copied, with their values, to the Asset.
They can be changed in the Asset without impacting the template.

 

Individualized nomenclature

The components of the template are copied to the Asset. These are the child links of the Asset [Links] tab or the [INDIVIDUALIZED NOMENCLATURE] tab of the Equipment tree structures.
The nomenclature can be changed in the Asset without impacting the template.

 

Reading point

One or more Reading points are created from the Reading point templates on the Template [Measurement] tab.

 

Work order plan

One or more work order plans are created from the Work order plan template relating to the template.
They can be viewed on the Asset [Preventive] tab.

 

Troubleshooting assistance

Troubleshooting assistance is initialized with that of the template and can be changed on the Asset [Troubleshooting] tab.
