GIS actions available on the map

This function gives access to the following actions (their availability may vary depending on the GIS used):

	Search. Used to perform searches: According to the code and name of geolocated entities present and visible on the map displayed on screen, According to addresses originating from a geocoding service. Geolocated entities may relate to Equipment (points, Assets) and to work orders or operations.
	Return to the default position. Returns to its default position.
	Contact details. Allows the initialization of the following actions: Retrieve: Retrieve GPS (or other) coordinates, Go to: Identify your position relative to coordinates, Convert contact details from one standard to another, Mark the address: Mark contact details as the main address for use in Create operations and Complete the work order processing operations.
	Table of Contents. Used to access the list of layers.
	Multiple selection. Used to select several elements.
	Selection in a window. Used to make a window selection.
	Selection in a circle. Used to make a selection in a circle.
	Selection in a polygon. Used to make a selection in a polygon.
	Clear the selection. Used to clear the selection (map + table + main address).
	Entity creation. Used to create a Work order, Point or Asset on the fly, while retaining its shape.
	Zoom in.
	Zoom out.
	Settings. Used to define a default position, and to change from one map to another.
	Key. Used to access the key to layers.
	Printing. Used to access the print menus.
	Basemap. Allows you to access the available basemaps and change them directly from the map. This information is saved in the map and for the user.

Table of Contents

	Layer. Icon used to represent a layer.
	Visible. The layer is visible on the map.
	Not displayed. The layer is not displayed on the map.
	Selectable. The layer can be selected on the map.
	Not selectable. The layer cannot be selected on the map.
	Filter criterion. The layer has a filter criterion. Click on this icon to change the criterion value.

Tooltip window on GIS elements

	Equipment details. Used to open the details mode for the selected entity.
	Work order follow-up. Provides direct access to the work order history.
	Available actions. Create a work order. Creating a work order report, Creating a project, Creating a Work request, Display operations, Defining the main address. These actions depend on profile rights, and on the type of entity selected (action available only on structure points and assets).
	Position on the map (Polygon, Point, Line). Used to associate or change the shape of an entity.
	Pair. Used to pair an equipment item (structure point or Asset). This action depends on profile rights, and also requires that entity is not already paired.

Visual indicators

The appearance of the “Display on the map” action icon (in the detail of an Asset form, for example) immediately shows information about the entity’s geolocation (presence of a shape on the map):

	The asset is geolocated but not paired.
	The asset is geolocated and paired.

	Position an address/co-ordinates on a map from the full text search or the Go toaction.
	Indicates that the selected address/contact details is considered the primary address.

GIS tables

Depending on which elements are selected on the map, they can be displayed in various tables:

1. Assets
2. Points
3. Work orders
4. Operations
5. GIS

	Display the number of elements. Used to show how many elements are selected on the map. Clicking on this button opens the various tables
	Shape icon. The entity has a Point shape. Clicking on this icon takes you to the selected element (zooming in and opening the tooltip).
	Shape icon. The entity has a Polygon shape. Clicking on this icon takes you to the selected element (zooming in and opening the tooltip).
	Shape icon. The entity has a Line shape. Clicking on this icon takes you to the selected element (zooming in and opening the tooltip).
	The check box can be used to highlight on the map an element in the table. Several elements may be highlighted simultaneously.

Actions available from the GIS tables

From the Assets and Points tables, via the icon:

• Work orders can be created directly; see Duplication of work orders:
  • Use the check box to select the equipment to be associated with a work order.
    The user can create as many work orders as there are items of equipment selected.

• A work order comprising "n" operations can be created directly, pertaining to the selected equipment, see duplication of operations:
  • Use the check box to select the equipment to be associated with an operation.

• A work order pertaining to the selected equipment can be completed directly (see completing a work order):
  • Use the check box to select the equipment to be associated with an operation and a work order.

• Work requests pertaining to the selected equipment can be created directly (see creating a Work request):
  • Use the check box to select the equipment to be associated with a work request.

• Work requests pertaining to the selected equipment can be processed directly (see processing Work requests):
  • Use the check box to select the equipment affected by one or more Work requests being taken into account.

• Work requests pertaining to the selected equipment can be viewed directly (see viewing Work requests):
  • Use the check box to select the equipment affected by one or more Work requests.

• You can display your equipment directly in the dedicated function (Points or Assets).
