In this form you specify the settings for creating a work order from:
- either a work order template,
- or a work order, and then all the information (except for the amount used and completed) is then copied to the new work order.
Source
You must fill in either the work order or the work order template.
- Work order to duplicate: The work order is created from an existing work order. All the information is copied with the estimated status; uses are not copied.
- Copy WO template: The work order is created based on the work order template.
Initialization
- Start date: Beginning of the work order. The end date is deduced from the duration of the work order template or the original work order.
- Status: Status of the work order created.
- Copy technicians: Method of copying human resource lines. If the box is checked, the technician is copied to labor lines, otherwise only the team and discipline are retained.
- Copy material resources: Method of copying physical resource lines. If the box is checked, the material resource is copied to the material resource lines. Otherwise, only the discipline is kept.
Equipment
- Copy equipment: If this box is checked, the equipment on the work order created is deduced from those on the work order template or the original work order. Uncheck this box to assign different equipment to the work order.
- Equipment: Same principle as for work orders.
Multiple creation
Create several work orders
This box is accessible only if the box "Copy equipment" box is unchecked. This is used to create a work order for each equipment item (Assets or points):
- located in the tree structure beneath the specified structure point ,
- and characterized by the indicated template or a template belonging to the indicated family.
See Definition of a set of equipment items.
Group in a project
Check this box to place the work orders created into a project:
- Existing: Select the project from the validated projects.
- New: Enter the name of the project to be created with the work order.
The link between the work order(s) and the project is initialized with status inheritance and dates not synchronized.
When several work orders are created and grouped in a project: only the structure point will be initialized if it has the "Authorized work order" property checked.
Rules applied when copying with reserved parts:
. If the original work order has an "In preparation" status (reservations planned) or "Validated" status (actual reservations) and has reservations, then the copied work order will have the same reservations.
. If the original work order has an "In progress," "Closed," or "Archived" status and it also has some consumption, then the copied work order will have the same reservations. These reservations will come from the consumption lines linked to an initial reservation.
After a multiple creation, the list of results contains only the work orders that have just been created.
