In several cases, CARL Source allows you to define a set of equipment items by:

• A Structure point,
• A family or a template.

 

Equipment items thus designated are those which:

• are located in the descending tree structure from the structure point,
• are characterized by a template belonging to the tree structure of the family or template.

 

For example:

• All the extinguishers of a building,
• All the conference rooms within an organization,
• All vehicles belonging to the "Light vehicle" family in a car park.

 

This possibility is offered for:

• triggers of Work order plan,
• the creation of work orders by copying,
• the work order template operation,
• operation duplication.

 

This makes it possible to:

• Make triggers work order templates independent of equipment additions, deletions, and movements,
• Create an operation or work order for each equipment item in question, without omission.
