A technician is an agent in the system who participates in work orders.

He belongs to a team and is characterized by:

• a business or "speciality"; see Technician [General].
• Skills: Certifications and qualifications for the equipment; see Technician [Certification].
• his cost and the times when he can work; see Technician [Costs].

His availability (or non-availability) are filled in in his calendar; see Technician calendar and Technician [Calendar].

 

Technician's time usage

Based on the calendar, the technician's schedule will be built according to his assignment to work orders:

• Tab Work order [Labor],
• Scheduling of resources function.

Next, the time spent on the various tasks will be filled in:

• In the work order reports, Work order [Completed] [Labor],
• Or in the occupations.

 

Technician statuses

Status management allows you to track the technicians, even after they have left.

• Active: The technician is currently part of the resources.
• Inactive: The technician cannot be assigned to a work order at this time, but he can be re-enabled.
• Canceled: The technician no longer belongs to the teams. This status is irreversible.

Technician's schedule

• Report: You can print the schedules of technicians in a team over a 2-week period with the "Technician schedule" report.
• View: You can view the scheduling of technicians.
• Unplanned absence: In the event of the absence of a technician to whom work orders have been assigned, use the scheduling of resources function to:
