The technician calendar allows you to:
- Know if a team or a technician is overloaded when you are planning work orders,
- Determine the unavailability of technicians on the scheduling of resources,
- Check the duration of a technician's occupations compared to the availabilities on the calendar: a technician cannot enter more hours than the planned time range in a day. Activation of this check depends on the settings.
Principle
Prerequisites:
Building calendars is broken down into:
- Defining standards times for a technician: for each day of a standard week, create a line for each time range.
- Copying and importing: once a standard week has been built, copy the times to the period where they are valid and to the technicians having an identical calendar.
- Entering exceptions as they arise from day to day: when there are exceptions to the standard week (vacation, training, etc.), delete and replace the time ranges of the affected days.
