The purpose of the [Resources] module is to manage all human and material resources involved in the maintenance of your organization, including both internal and external resources, and services provided.

You will specify for resources:

• Useful contact details and the team,
• Their skills: discipline, certifications, and qualifications,
• Their calendars with the various availability ranges,
• Their cost price according to the schedule, or suppliers for services.

 

Synopsis

Technicians

Technicians are agents in the system who participate in work orders and inventory management. They can be external or internal.
The skills make it possible to assign technicians to appropriate tasks and the calendar provides information about the resources available for work orders.

 

Material resources

Material resources are physical resources that can be reserved and used for a work order, in the same was as a technician.
They can be associated with an item of equipment of the Asset type, a structure Point or a location point.

The calendar is used to determine the availability of these resources for work orders.

 

Labor

Enter and check the tasks for which the technicians have worked in the [Occupations] function.

• Labor type: Configure the types of activities for which technicians can allocate time.

 

Configuration

Functions allow the administrators of the application to set the settings for the lists of use to this module.
It is preferable to define these elements before starting to enter technicians or material resources.

• Team: List the teams you have.
• Discipline: Configure the various disciplines so that an appropriate match can be found between the needs of the work order and the available resources.
• Certification: Describe the specific skills, diplomas, or certifications.
• Calendar availabilities: Set the settings of the various types of activity in the calendars.
• Time type: Define the time ranges on which the cost of the technicians depends.
