The specialty is the job of a technician or the business context of a material resource.

It is also used when preparing a work order in order to specify needs, before knowing which technician or resource to assign.
Consequently, when planning a work order, the application checks the available hours per discipline and proposes appropriate teams, technicians and material resources.
By specifying an average hourly cost for the discipline, you can evaluate the estimated cost of the work order.

 

Managing the list of disciplines in the application

1. Place the cursor in the [Resources] module and select [Disciplines] from the [Configuration] section.
   → The list of disciplines is displayed.
   
   
2. Select the [Criteria] tab, enter the search criteria and click the [Results] tab.
   → The list of disciplines corresponding to the criteria is displayed.
