Calendar availabilities
Resources > Calendar availabilities

Calendar availability designates the type of activity or an absence of technicians on the calendar; see Using the calendar.

When scheduling resources, the availabilities make it possible to know which technician to assign to which task according to the visible unavailabilities.
They can also ensure the consistency of the entered occupations: if the technician had an availability range of 7 hours, they must not be allowed to enter 8 hours of occupation.

The calendar availability can correspond to:

Creating a calendar availability

  1. Place the cursor in the [Resources] module and select [Calendar availabilities] from the [Configuration] section.
    or
    Place the cursor in the [Equipment] module and select [Calendar availabilities] from the [Configuration] section.
    → The list of availabilities is displayed.

  2. Select the [Criteria] tab, enter the search criteria and click the [Results] tab.
    → The list of availabilities corresponding to the criteria is displayed.

  3. From the list of availabilities, click on the add icon .
    → A new line is added in creation mode.

  4. Fill in the information; see Calendar availability [Results], then confirm .
    → The availability is created and you are returned to the main menu.

The list of availabilities can also be accessed from a technician's calendar; see Technician [Calendar].

 

Changing a calendar availability

  1. From the list of availabilities, select the line and modify the desired information.
    → The changes will be taken into account upon confirmation.

 

Deleting a calendar availability

  1. From the list of availabilities, select the ones to be deleted and then click on the delete icon .
    → The availabilities are deleted provided they are not linked to any calendar.
