A customer is a person to whom services are invoiced.

In this function, you specify:

• The main address and customer contacts, see Customers [General]
• Billing contact details, agents responsible for the customer, see Customers [Contact Information]
• The customer’s addresses, see Customers [Addresses]
• Equipment belonging to the customer, see Customers [Equipment].
• The billing conditions for a PURCHASING type customer, see Customers [Conditions].
• The work summary summarizing data on Quotations, WRand work orders
• The Purchasing summary summarizing data on completed purchases
• The Managements managing the customer.

Customer type

The customer type defines customer properties for the Work process and/or the Purchasing process.
There are several types customer:

• work: The customer can be accessed in the work process (Quotation, WR , Work order).
• Purchases: The customer can be accessed in the purchasing process (PR, Purchase order).
• Work and Purchasing: The customer can be accessed in both processes.

 

Customer statuses

Status management allows you to keep track of customers who no longer use your services, either temporarily or permanently.

• Active: The customer is active.
• Inactive: There should no longer (or not yet) be any work performed for this customer.
• Canceled: This customer will never use your services again. This status is irreversible.
• Dispute: You have an ongoing dispute with the customer.

You can quickly find the energy points associated with the customer through the "View energy points" action in the actions menu from the customer details.
