You can directly create a complete hierarchy of Structure points and Assets starting with an existing branch of the graph of tree structures,
Automatic coding must be defined for the elements to be created (Structure points and assets).
The information to be entered is as follows:
- Duplicated equipment: Equipment at the top of the branch to be duplicated.
- Organization: Organization assigned to the created equipment, which makes it possible to copy the equipment from one organization to another.
- Type of parent equipment: structure of the parent under which the new branch is being created.
- Structure point/Asset: parent under which the new branch is being created. Blank if the branch is to be attached directly to the root.
- Status of points/Assets: the status in which the structure points/assets of the branch are being created.
- Number of copy instances: the same branch can be copied several times with the same settings.
- Copy depth: number of levels of the original branch to be taken into account.
- Comment: that of the link between the created equipment and its parent.
Copy options
-
Characteristics:
- No: No initialization of the characteristics.
- Equipment: The characteristics are initialized directly with the characteristics of the original equipment.
- Templates: The characteristics are initialized with the characteristics "to be copied" of the original equipment templates.
-
Reading points:
- Control points:
- Individualized nomenclature (solely for assets): The component items of the original asset templates will also be components of the created assets.
- Troubleshooting assistance: The fault tree including its components will be created from that of the original equipment template and associated with the created equipment.
- Work order plan: A Work order plan will be created for each equipment item from the default Work order plan template for the template of the equipment.
Creation rules
- The template will be filled in for the created Equipment only if the "Equipment with identical template" box is checked on the template. If the box is not checked, there will be no initialization of characteristics or the nomenclature, or creation of reading points when the chosen option is "Templates."
- The name of the created equipment is that of the original equipment.
- The status and organization of the created equipment are those entered in the creation settings.
Example
Let us consider the following branch:
GEO - Location point 1
GEO - Location point 2
PRINC1 - Main point 1
MAT1 - Asset 1
MAT2 - Asset 2
MAT3 - Asset 3
MAT4 - Asset 4.
Duplication of the branch with 2 instances and a depth of 4 leads to the creation of tree structure branches in the parent point:
EQPT1 - Location point 1
EQPT2 - Location point 2
EQPT3 - Main point 1
EQPT4 - Asset 1
EQPT5 - Asset 3
EQPT6 - Location point 1
EQPT7 - Location point 2
EQPT8 - Main point 1
EQPT9 - Asset 1
EQPT10 - Asset 3
