The control point allows you to easily monitor the status of a particular topic on an item of equipment, whether it is a location, an Asset or a structure point. It can be linked to a technical work package (classification) for monitoring with a view different from the usual hierarchical view of a set of equipment.
The classification can be taken from a specific construction classification structure, a specific structure associated with the equipment type such as technical work packages for of roads, plant management, etc.
Examples: state of windows, doors, electrical sockets, apparent obsolescence, floor condition, appearance of cladding in rooms, tree size, bracing appearance, plants, etc.
This provides a dual view and analysis by equipment or technical classification of an equipment pool.

 

In this way you can:

The states are taken from a list of pre-determined states for the control point at the user's choice during a status reading.
The reading is straightforward and fast with no entry but only a choice of the new state to be declared.

Declarative control points

For quick tracking and reporting of any equipment topic status, pre-set with a status list defined for field management teams.

 

Calculated control points

For following up and returning automated overviews of the calculated state (or a note) of a set of control points distributed on a set of equipments for the equipment manager, facilitating fast information taking.

 

Control point templates

To create similar control points (same type, same status value, etc.) and to quickly initialize points, you can define control point templates (See Control point templates). Required on the control point.

Properly configured calculated control points allow you, when created on equipment, with the right control point template, to automatically add the calculation source control points from the equipment's downstream equipment without user action.
