Equipment > Control point template

The definition of control point templates allows you to create new Control points more quickly and to ensure consistency between control points having common characteristics. It is also required on a control point and initializes certain characteristics of the control point when it is created.

Some characteristics of the control point template are common to all control points defined on the basis of this template, such as states, state list, type and calculation.
As a result: they cannot be changed on the control point.
Control point templates are used when creating control points individually and manually, as they are required on points.
However, a template also allows the mass generation of control points in an automated way. It is important for the template to be correctly filled in.

Access to the "Control point templates" function

  1. Place the cursor in the [Equipment] module and select [Control point templates] from the [Reading] section.
→ The list of Control point templates is displayed.
