General information
For rules on how to use the fields, see Detail form.
- Template: Identifier of the template. It is unique in the application. This is initialized by the application, but it is preferable to change it to a more meaningful code.
- Name: Name of the control point template for easier identification of the template.
- Active: Parameter designating the control point template as suitable for use or not in the application. No points can be generated from a inactive template.
- Point default name: Name used when creating the control point to initialize the name of the created control point.
-
Type: A control point generated from this template will be of the same type as the template:
- "Declarative": Control point generated with manual entry of a predefined state. It allows you to track the status of this specific point on the linked equipment.
- "Calculated": Control point calculated according to declarative control points (of the same status list), associated with the control point.
Associated with a higher level equipment in an equipment hierarchy, the calculated control point will display a summary of the status of the higher level equipment, calculated on the basis of a set of control points located and filled in on the lower level equipment.
- Grouping: Value (from a modifiable list) allowing you to classify control point templates. On creation, also initializes the group of control points.
- Classification structure: Identifies the classification structure.
- Classification code: Code of the indicated classification structure point, allowing you to reference the template and initialize the control points from the template in this hierarchical tree structure.
- Values list: List of values allowing you to initialize the control states and interconnect the calculated points and the declarative points used as sources for the calculation. The states must be the same and match between templates to make consistent calculations.
-
Calculation: Only for the Calculated type. Indicates the calculation to be performed on the control point associated with this template:
- Sum
- Minimum
- Maximum
- Average
- Weighted average
- Calculation data: Attribute used for the calculation. Either the numerical value of the state or the rating associated with the state.
- Calculation periodicity: Indicates the minimum time interval before the calculation is started automatically on the control point.
- Close state: When a calculation is performed, to make the results more readable for the user, the system will display the closest state rather than the numerical results of the calculation.
A common list of reports for the same control point template domain or the whole of the same classification is preferable for better understanding and reading of reports by users.
Calculated control points can only refer to source control points in the same values list.
Secondary information by template type
Declarative type:
Control state values:
- Sequence: State order (read-only from the values list).
- Code (numerical): State numerical value (read-only from the values list).
- Name: Status name (read-only from the values list).
- Rating: Note for calculations or scores if necessary.
- Icon: Name of the icon representing the state (read-only from the values list).
- Icon. : Icon graphic representation.
- Default: Indicates the default value of the state when the control point is created.
- Required comment: Indicates a required comment when entering this state on the control point.
Monitoring:
- Monitoring lower limit and upper limit: Code value (numerical) or status rating outside of which the linked equipment requires monitoring. When reading states, if the entered value is outside one of these limits, a warning message will be displayed if the "Send an email" option is enabled.
-
Correction lower limit and upper limit: Code value (numeric) or status rating outside of which the linked equipment requires correction, initiating a WR if the "Issue a WR" option is enabled.
- The lower limit must be greater than the minimum value and less than the monitoring lower limit,
- The upper limit must be less than the maximum value and greater than the monitoring upper limit.
- Message template: Template of the warning message sent.
- Issuing a WR: If this box is checked, a status reading (manual or calculated) with a value not exceeding the correction lower limit or with a value of not less than the correction upper limit, triggers the creation of a WR, sent to the person in charge of the equipment.
- Send an e-mail: If this box is checked, a status reading (manual or calculated) with a value beyond the correction limits will trigger the sending of an email to the person in charge of the equipment, if the message template is configured.
Calculated type:
Points templates on downstream equipment:
List containing the control point templates allowing you to perform the calculation and initializing the target declarative control points on the generated calculation point.
When creating the control point calculated from this calculated template, the application will browse all the equipment downstream from the point equipment and will add as source control points all the points associated with the templates in the table.
- Point template: Declarative template code.
- Name: Template name.
- Grouping: Template grouping.
- Classification: Template classification code.
- Equipment structure: If filled in, this will only consider the downstream equipment on which to recover the target control points associated with the declarative template with the structure indicated here. If not filled in, no filter is applied.
- Name: Name of the structure filled in.
- Coefficient: Default coefficient for the calculations of the added control points. Useful for the weighted average only.
