Equipment sorting order

The sorting order of the equipment can be manual, by structure and code, by structure and label, by code, or by label.

By choosing manual sorting, an icon is automatically added to the treeview toolbar and allows you to move items with four arrow buttons.

Default structure displayed for location treeview

Indicates the tab of the geographic structure type to display in the equipment treeview from the "Search by Treeview" action in the Location IZ.

This parameter overrides the generic parameter in module settings to specifically adjust behavior for a user profile. It can be left empty in profile settings.

A recording is considered non-chronological if its date is earlier than the date of the last recorded measurement for the same measurement point.

Equipment / Measurement Recording

Recording correction closest to the value to be corrected

(CloseCorrectionMeasure)

If enabled, when entering a correction-type measurement, the software will automatically update the measurement date to match the previous recording date. This behavior applies to on-screen input and does not affect possible data imports.

Generation of POs by supplier

When an intervention is validated, a purchase order is generated for each distinct supplier.

Maximum amount allowed for intervention validation

CARL Source prevents the user from validating an intervention whose total planned amount exceeds this parameter.

Purchase reception at intervention balance

- Manual: Reception can be performed from the intervention or the purchase request or order.

- Automatic: Reception of POs and orders linked to the intervention will be done automatically when the intervention is balanced, if their state permits.

This reception is subject to PO/Order Reception rights.

- Confirmation: Reception of purchases linked to the intervention will be offered in the form displayed when the intervention is balanced.

This dialog box is displayed only if POs are present and the user has the right to receive POs, and/or orders are present and the user has the right to receive orders.

- Mandatory: The intervention cannot be balanced until the linked POs or orders are fully received.

Type of purchase generated by interventions

If the user's profile allows creating purchases from interventions, then:

- PO: A PO is automatically created when an intervention is validated,

- Order: An order is automatically created when an intervention is validated.

CARL Source prevents the user from closing an invoice if the ratio between billed and billable amounts exceeds this parameter.

Stock / Item

Maximum allowed days for backdating stock movements

The date of entered stock movements cannot be earlier than the number of days specified in this parameter. This parameter also applies to imported stock movements.

The user cannot validate a output if the AP of any item is higher than this parameter.

Stock / Replenishment

Creation of POs by supplier

If this setting is "yes", changing the Reorder line to purchase requests creates a PR according to supplier rather than grouping together PRL in the same PR.

Stock / Transfer Request

Allow transfer requests without restrictions on the requesting warehouse

If this setting is "yes," in general reorder mode, the user can perform transfer requests even if the item is not managed in the requesting warehouse, always provided that "Inventory reorder" is checked for the item."

Accounts / Budget

Number of days discrepancy allowed between the movement date and today's date

For operations generating accounting entries, CARL Source prevents entering a date that deviates by more than this parameter's value.
