In an international environment, this function can be used to configure the time zones used in the application.
Time zone configuration is subject to a profile right.
Accessing the list of time zones
- In the [System] module, select the [Identify time zones] function in the [Configuration] section.
→ The list of time zones used in CARL Source is displayed.
- The application’s time zone is automatically added to this list and cannot be deleted.
- You can add as many time zones as desired.
Adding time zones
- Add one or more time zones by clicking on the add icon

→ The list of time zones in standard use (OlsonDataBase) is displayed.
- Check one or more time zones (filtering if necessary) and then confirm.
→ The time zones selected are automatically added to the list of time zones used in the application.
The time zones defined in this function are subsequently offered in:
- Users/agents,
- On-the-fly time zone changes,
- Advanced criteria,
- Report publishing.
