Prerequisites

• To have created the family to which the item belongs, if the items are to be organized according to family.
• To have created the suppliersto be specified in the item sheet.
• To have the management unit of the item.
• Be connected to a profile having the right to "Create an item."

 

Procedure

From the [Inventory] module

1. In the [Inventory] module, select the [Items] function.
   → The list of items is displayed.
   
   
2. Click on the add icon .
   → The item detail form is displayed for creation purposes; see Item [General].

From the family tree structure

1. In the [Equipment] module, select the [Equipment tree structure] function.
   → The tree structure display form is displayed; see Tree structure graph.
   
   
2. Select the [FAMILY] tab
   → The family tree structure is displayed.
   
   
3. Select the family to which the item belongs.
   
   
4. Select [Creating an item], from the Add menu .
   → The item detail form is displayed for creation purposes; see Item [General].
