This form is used to take inventory of a set of items in one or more warehouses.
The first pane determines:
- information about the inventory,
- the criteria of the items concerned by the inventory.
The second pane contains one line per quantity to be updated.

Allocation
- Taking inventory: You can have several types of inventory; see movement types.
- Date of inventory: Initialized with today's date, but editable.
- Inventory slip: Reference to the inventory slip, if any.
- Cost center: Cost center of entries generated by a variation in the stock value.
- Agent: Technician or user having conducted the inventory, for information purposes.
- Comment: Explanatory text that initializes the comment of each movement line of the inventory.
Search criteria
All the criteria are optional.
- Item: Enter all or a portion of the item code if your inventory concerns specific items.
- Family: Family of the items to be inventoried.
- Warehouse: Warehousefor which the inventory is being done.
- Location: Storage location in the warehouse.
- Last inventory: For the selection of items for which the last inventory date is between two dates or prior to or after a given date.
List of quantities in the warehouses
- Item: Inventoried item.
- Name: Name of the item, cannot be changed.
- Warehouse: Storage warehouse. You can change it, which is the same as removing the quantity from the initial warehouse and adding it to this one.
- Location: Location in the warehouse where the quantity is found. You can change it; same principle as for a warehouse.

Asset/Lot number:
- The Asset is required for a serialized item. An Asset in inventory cannot be linked to another equipment item in the tree structure.
- The batch No. is necessarily filled in for an item managed by batch.
- Name: Depending on the case, a comment on the batch or the storage location.
- Expiry: Expiry date of the batch; for information purposes only.
- Quantity found: The quantity found in the warehouse, to be entered necessarily to generate a movement and thus keep an inventory record trail.
- Quantity stored: Quantity in inventory known by CARL Source from the movements previously input.
- Comment (
icon): Optional explanation of the inventory movement.
- Init quantity: Checking this box initializes the quantity recorded with the stored quantity.
