Service provider's configuration

The service provider that sends the inspection reports to be imported must be declared in CARL Source as a Supplier.

Its import settings have to be defined.
For this purpose, from the supplier's detailed file, access the Configuration of inspection imports form.

Connector configuration

  1. Place the cursor in the [Work] module and select [Control-S connectors] from the [Configuration] section.
  2. From the list of connectors, click on the add icon .
→ The details form for a connector is displayed.
  3. Fill in the form; see the Control-S connectors [General] page

Equivalence of assessments

CARL Source allows you to manage assessments for each observation related to a diagnostic work order.
As each service provider has its own coding of assessments, these two lists should be matched.
The list of service provider assessments is defined in the csv/xml files of inspection reports.

Caution, a service provider's assessments may change from one inspector to another!
It is essential to impose a coding system on service providers who must commit to scrupulously to complying with it during each inspection.

To create an equivalence, see the Equivalence of assessments page.

Coding linked documents

The automatic coding of linked documents is required to start imports.

To access automatic coding, see the Automatic coding page.

In order to prevent the risks related to the volume of files that will be imported, the automatic coding of linked documents (entity = 'DOCUMENT') should be configured with a fairly long enough sequence length (8/10 digits, for example), and shorten the prefix size, if necessary.
