The Control-S (CTRL-S) feature allows you to:

import regulatory inspection reports from accredited organizations into CARL Source,
produce supporting documents effortlessly for follow-up inspections and audits: storage and archiving of reports in the CARL Source library,
identify non-conformities, optimize their corrections, and monitor equipment.

Two methods are possible:

Import of regulatory inspection reports from CSV or XML files provided by service providers: standard connector.
Import of regulatory inspection reports via dedicated connectors linking CARL Source to the platforms of the organizations “BUREAU VERITAS” or “SOCOTEC”.

Operation

Importing regulatory inspection reports from accredited organizations into CARL Source generates one or more interventions.

Non-conformities or observations identified during the inspection appear in these interventions as DIAGNOSTIC type operations with an evaluation.

Depending on the actions defined for these evaluations, CARL Source will generate Service Requests or Interventions.
The Service Requests or Interventions generated by CARL Source then include the information from the report: concerned equipment, details of the non-conformity, etc.

It is possible to manually upload inspection reports from different organizations using the “Import inspection reports” action of the “Intervention” feature in CARL Source.

There are several possible modes of automation of CTRL-S with the different inspection organizations:

Deposit directly on your SFTP server (you must then have your own SFTP server),
Connection to the inspection organization’s SFTP server.

The SFTP handler of CARL Source connection points must be implemented when connecting to an SFTP server.

In the case of SaaS hosting, the client must subscribe to an additional option with CARL Berger-Levrault to be eligible for SFTP.
