Description and assignment of a control point
- Control point: Identifier of the control point. It is unique in the application. This is initialized by the application, but you can change it to a more meaningful code.
- Name: Name of the control point which has to identify the control point.
- Active: Status of the control point indicating whether it is suitable for use in the application. If inactive, the status cannot be entered/changed. It is not considered in calculations.
- Template: To be selected from among the existing Control point templates. If the template is selected, the type, grouping, classification structure, classification code, values list fields, and the calculation and monitoring fields are filled in with the values defined for this template. Type, Values list can no longer be changed.

Type: A control point may be of the "declarative" or "calculated" type and is inherited from the template.
- "Declarative": The associated control point allows the user to manually enter a status of a control point associated with the equipment.
- "Calculated": The associated control point is a calculation based on declarative control points in the same states list. Associated with a high-level equipment in a hierarchy, the calculated control point allows you to display a calculated state/number, coming from a set of source control points, located and filled in on low-level equipment for example. The calculation is initiated with the automatic job to be set or the manual "Calculation" button available.
- Grouping: Value (from a modifiable list) allowing you to classify control point templates.
- Structure point or Asset: Equipment to which the control point is linked. You must only fill in one of these two fields. You can select it from the list of structure points or Assets by clicking on
.
- Organization: Organization to which the control point is assigned. As default, that of the connected equipment.
For creation only, when the template field and an equipment field are filled in, the name is initialized by the specific field of the "Default point name" template + the equipment code in brackets.
In addition to the automatic generation of control points, this allows the generation of specific names, adapted to each item of equipment and independently of the template name.
Control point name
- Classification structure: Identifies the classification structure.
- Classification code: Code of the indicated classification structure point, allowing you to reference the template and initiate the control points from the template in this hierarchical tree structure.
- Values list: List of values allowing you to initialize the control states and interconnect the calculated points and the declarative points used as sources for the calculation. The states must be the same and match between templates to make consistent calculations.
Only for the "Calculated" type

Calculation: Indicates the calculation to be performed on the control point. It is taken from the template and cannot be changed:
- Sum
- Minimum
- Maximum
- Average
- Weighted average: taking the coefficients of source control points into account.
- Calculation data: Attribute used for the calculation. Either the state numerical value or the rating associated with the states of source points.
- Calculation periodicity: Indicates the minimum time interval before the calculation is started automatically on the calculated control points.
- Close state: When a calculation is performed, to make the result more readable for the user, the system will display the closest state rather than the numerical result.
Only for the "Declarative" type
- Monitoring lower limit and upper limit: Code value (numerical) or status rating outside of which the linked equipment requires monitoring. When reading states, if the entered value is outside one of these limits, a warning message will be displayed if the "Send an email" option is enabled.

Correction lower limit and upper limit: Code value (numeric) or status rating outside of which the linked equipment requires correction, initiating a WR if the "Issue a WR" option is enabled.
- The lower limit must be greater than the minimum value and less than the monitoring lower limit,
- The upper limit must be less than the maximum value and greater than monitoring upper limit.
- Message template: Template of the warning message sent.
- Issuing a WR: If this box is checked, a status reading (manual or calculated) with a value not exceeding the correction lower limit or with a value of not less than the correction upper limit, triggers the creation of a WR, sent to the person in charge of the equipment.
- Send an e-mail: If this box is checked, a status reading (manual or calculated) with a value beyond the correction limits will trigger the sending of an email to the person in charge of the equipment, if the message template is configured.

- Entry details: Displays a pop-up with the details of the last status reading.
- Enter a state: Allows you to open the control point status pop-up. This is possible directly from the result list, by selecting a line. See the results tab.When the information is confirmed, the point status is updated.

- New state: Required. Contains the list of possible states for the control point.
- Comment: Comment associated with the status reading. May be required depending on the setting of the point values/states.

- Value + icon: Reading value and status with the corresponding icon, if any.
- Rating: Numerical value associated with the point status. Not required.
- Date: Date of the status reading.
- Changed by: User who performed the reading.
- Comment: Comment associated with the status reading.
