The central part of the schedule comprises the form header and the graphic part of the schedule. There are several areas:

• Function name
• The function exit button
• An expand button: this button allows you to maximize the scheduling form over the entire available display by hiding the left menu of the application and the header bar . This action also removes the breadcrumb trail.
  Instead, the button returns to the conventional browsing display.

The header of the central scheduling area consists of:

A browsing area and scheduling actions

• Choice of views ↔: each view can be disabled via the module settings.
  • Daily view: provides a one-day view of the scheduling of resources over the full width of the form.
  • Week” view: provides a view over a horizon of one working week of the scheduling of resources over the full width of the form.
  • Two week view: provides a view over a horizon of 2 working weeks of the scheduling of resources on the full width of the form.
  • Month” view: provides a whole month's view of the scheduling of resources over the full width of the form.
  • Sliding view (configurable as n days): view with a configurable horizon via the module settings, with a horizontal scrollbar to browse the entire period with a detailed view.
• Browsing to the left: browsing: loads the schedule from the previous period into the one displayed.
• Period of the displayed field: specifies the start and end date of the displayed period with the number of the week in brackets.
• Browsing to the right: loads the schedule from the next period into the one displayed.
• Today: returns the display quickly to the current day.
• Quick move button: provides quick access to a desired date via calendar browsing.
• Action access button:
  • Refresh the schedule: update the graphic area of the schedule with the latest updated data.
  • Settings: provides access to several user-specific or global scheduling-specific customization settings. see Customization setting.
  • Captions and keyboard shortcuts: displays a panel with a key of the colors used as well as keyboard shortcuts useful for scheduling.

A graphic area of the schedule

Scheduling area:

• First header line: specifies the day/month according to the view.
• Second header line: specifies the schedule days/times.
• Scheduling lines: is used to display and edit the activities of each resource. A resource is represented by a scheduling line.

In the graphic area, the calendar unavailabilities of each resource are shown by a greyed-out hatched area to provide a visual aid for periods that cannot be used for an allocation. This display is located in the background.

Scheduled activities are in the foreground and can be accessed and changed quickly. An activity only relates to one resource and cannot cover 2 resource lines at the same time.

Activity details

When you create an activity or access activity details, a pop-up window is displayed:

• Name:
  • Work order: Work order code. During entry, allow the selection of a work order in the right basket.
  • Name of the work order.
  • Comment: Note on the scheduled resource line.
• Resource
  • Resource: Assigned resource code.
  • Name of the resource.
• Type
  • Type: Labor type involved.
• Dates
  • Start date: Scheduled start date.
  • Start time: Scheduled start time.
  • End date: Scheduled end date.
  • End time: Scheduled end time.
  • Duration: Scheduled activity period.
• Action buttons
  • Delete: Used to delete the activity.
    
  • Cancel: Cancels the activity changes or cancels the activity creation.
    
  • Confirm: Confirms the data and saves the scheduled resource line.
  Deleting an activity results in the deletion of the resource line and not in the de-assigning of the resource from the scheduled resource line.

  The labor lines corresponding to movements (labor type defined in the module setting) can be displayed differently (gray color) in the resource schedule. This mechanism is implemented if the TRAVEL_OCCTYPE_COLOR_TYPE (Define a specific color for the type to be applied for the movement) module setting is enabled.
