- Work order template: Identifier of the work order template. It is unique in the application. It is recommended that a meaningful identifier be entered, because it appears in the source of work orders created from this work order template.
- Name: This name will initialize that of the work order. It is used to specify the content and may be useful when searching for work order templates.
- Status: Status of the work order template. Only work order templates having a "Validated" status can be used to create work orders. To change the status of the work order template, see Changing the status of an element.
Work order
This part contains general information on the work orders created from this work order template.
After the work order has been created, it will still be possible to change it.
- End day: Number of days between the start and end of the work order. Used to assign an end date to the work order based on its start date. End date = Start date + Work order template duration. For a work order lasting one day, put 0.
- Priority: Degree of urgency of the work order.
- Type: Category of the work to be performed, to be selected or entered from the types configured in your system.
- Cost center: Cost center for the work order (for cost accounting).
- Type: Category of the work order that will be created. The list of types of work order templates is a configurable values list.
- Fixed date: To be checked if the dates absolutely must be complied with. The work order emanating from this work order template cannot be moved from macroplanning.
Equipment
You can specify an equipment item in the work order template, if the work order template is intended for a single equipment item.
More generally speaking, you can enter a template in the event that the work order template can be used by a set of equipment of the same template.
- Location point: Location of the work order. To be selected only if the work order template refers to the actual location point.
- Main point: To be selected or entered if the work order template directly concerns this main point
- Asset: To be selected or entered if the work order template only applies to a given asset.
- Template: To be selected or entered if the work order template is valid for a set of equipment of the same template.
- Family: Family of templates to which the work order template refers.
Implementation conditions
- Asset stopped: To be checked if the work orders of this work order template require stoppage of the equipment.
- Acceptance of work: To be checked if the work described in the work order template will require reception by a manager when the work order is declared "Finished" (see Work order statuses).
- To be scheduled: To be checked if you want to manage the scheduling of resources for work orders.
Resources
- Organization: Organization for which the work order template is defined.
- Stoppage time: Planned stoppage time of the equipment.
- Planned workload: Total planned time for the work order in man-hours.
- Duplicating a work order template takes standard Xtra fields into account. This means that if you duplicate a work order template with the Xtra fields filled in, the Xtra fields in the work order template created will retrieve the original values from these fields.
- The processes involved in initializing a work order by a work order template (i.e., duplication of a work order from a work order template and triggering of work order plans) retrieve the values contained in the Xtra fields of the work order template so that these values are included in the work orders.
