This feature can be used to anticipate and organize an inventory of one or more warehouses.
The first step is to describe the general information relating to the prepared inventory, then to add prepared inventory lines: these lines represent quantities to be checked in the actual stock when the prepared inventory is carried out.
Carrying out the prepared inventory entails entering the "Quantity recorded" (i.e. the quantity actually observed in stock) for an item and a location checked, for all prepared inventory lines defined in advance.
Once the inventory has been carried out, closing the Prepared inventory converts the prepared inventory lines into stock movements of type "Prepared inventory."
The [Summary] tab can be used to display variations in a number of indicators over the life cycle of the prepared inventory.

Asynchronous processing: if the volume of the prepared inventory is large in terms of the number of lines to be inventoried, closing processing can be initiated in asynchronous mode. This allows the user to regain control of the application during the processing time. The user is notified by Memo when the processing is closed.
To do this, simply define, in the System / System configuration / HMI module, the threshold beyond which the transition goes from synchronous to asynchronous. This parameter is called asyncWorkflowTheshold.
Beyond this threshold, the prepared inventory goes into asynchronous mode during the transition from "In progress" to "Closed" or during the transition from "Finished" to "Closed" (inventory control).
As long as the processing has not finished, the inventory is in the "In progress" state and thus cannot be changed and no transition appears.
When the asynchronous processing is closed, the prepared inventory is in the "Closed" state (the inventory movements have then been generated).
