On this tab you indicate the contents of the pull-down menus of each module as they will appear for the users of the customization group.
You can:
- delete or add menu lines,
- move them or assign them to a category,
- assign to them the name you wish,
- have them point to the form of your choice,
- and associate them with a new "My menu" module.
If this form is a search form, the corresponding detail form will have been specified on the Customization group [Association] tab.
Initialization
Rather than recreating the complete menu, you can start with the standard menu.
- On the creation menu
, select "Initialize menu."
→ The application displays a confirmation pop-up
- Click on the "Confirm" button.
→ The application initializes the contents of the menus of each module.
If you have already started entering menus, the changes will be lost.
Example:
In the "Purchasing" module, create a menu line for the form RECH_FRN_SIMPL which you will name "Simplified supplier."
In addition, you define the association between RECH_FRN_SIMPL and DET_FRN_SIMPL on the [Association] tab.
Instructions
- Select the module from the drop-down list.
→ The lines of the menu are updated in the table.
The blank lines correspond to a separation bar between the menu lines.
- Change the organization of the lines. You can:
Menu organization

Category: The one the function is assigned to. If it is not filled in, the function will be stored in an "Others" section. The category will have to be manually assigned to see it appear correctly in the desired section.
The list of categories corresponds to an extendable
list of values containing the order number in which the section is displayed in the menu as well as the section header name (category).
- Order in the category: The lines are displayed in ascending order of numbers within the category (section in the browsing menu) .
- Function: The function to which the menu line corresponds. If not filled in, this line will display a separation bar in the menu.
- Form: The form opened by the menu line. If it is a detail form, it will be opened in creation mode.
- Customization: Customized version of the form, if there is one. Leave this field blank if you wish to use the standard default version of the form. First save the group so that the associated custom forms are offered.
- Name: Name of the item on the menu.

Tab: To be filled in if the form has several tabs:
- from among [Search], [Favorites], and [Results] for a search form,
- from among the tabs on the detail sheet for a detail form.

Privilege: Right of the function upon which the display of this menu line is conditional.
For example:
A "Work order creation" line pointing to the work order sheet in creation mode should only be visible to users having the "Creation" right for the "Work order" function.
The list contains the privileges linked to the selected function such as you have assigned them to a profile.
Special case: CARL Source module
- Select the "CARL Source" module from the drop-down list.
→ The lines of the menu are updated in the table.
- Add lines to associate new functions.
- After saving, the
icon corresponding to "My menu" appears in the first position of the browsing menu and contains the functions added in the previous step.
