The brand name of an Asset or a template is used to identify it more easily.
As default, this attribute is not displayed, but you can add it quite simply in customization mode.
Accessing the list of brand names
- Place the cursor in the [Equipment] module and select [Brand names] from the [Configuration] section.
→ The list of brand names is displayed.
Creating a brand name
- From the brand name list or search, click on the add icon

→ A line is added in creation mode.
- Fill in the code and description of the brand name, fill in any manufacturer, and then save
.
→ The new brand name is created and available.
Deleting a brand name
- From the list of trademarks, select the ones to be deleted and then click on the delete icon
.
→ The selected brand names are deleted provided they are not linked to any template or asset.
You can also disable an obsolete brand name by unchecking the "ACTIVE" box; it can no longer be assigned to new templates and Assets.
