Once preventive maintenance plans have been defined, it will be possible to trigger preventive operations.
Launching work order plans consists in creating preventive work orders according to the triggering conditions defined in the Work order plan.

Launching a work order plan is broken down into 4 steps:

1. Generation of the list of triggers for which at least one condition is met,
2. Filtering this list so as to retain only real triggers, while eliminating triggers disabled by other higher priority ones, falling within the tolerance range; see Trigger: Principle,
3. Automatic construction of the list of work orders corresponding to the triggers,
4. Creation of the work orders you have selected.

Construction of the list

The list of work orders is built in the following way:

1. Selection of active Work order plan meeting the criteria entered.
2. For each plan, scanning of all the active triggers.
3. Testing of checked conditions for each of these triggers.
4. If the launch conditions of 2 triggers in the same plan are verified, only the lower priority trigger is taken into account.
5. The offered work orders are filtered over time:

→ Case in which the "Trigger until" criterion is filled in on the [Search] tab: Trigger date <= indicated date.

→ Case in which the "Trigger until" criterion is not filled in: Trigger date <= current date + trigger horizon.

Preventive work orders created at the time of an earlier launch are no longer offered.

Launching of work order plans

Prerequisites:

• Have created work order plans

Procedure:

1. In the [Work] module, select the [Simulation and launching of work order plans] function.
   → The work order restriction criteria form is displayed.
   
   
2. Indicate the restriction criteria, then go to the [Results] tab.
   → The diagram of work orders to be created according to your criteria and the preventive plans is displayed; see Simulation and Launching of work order plans [Launching].
