The Building is a particular point in the location tree structure; consequently, buildings can be grouped according to real estate sites, or associated with uncharacterized points, such as cities.
A building may in turn be broken down into floors, zones, and rooms.
A building has some information specific to real estate (including capacity, surface area, address).

Create a building on a list

1. In the [Equipment] module, select the [Locations] function.
   → The list of locations is displayed.
   
   
2. On the creation menu , select "Create a building."
   → Display of details of a building form.
   
   
3. In the Location field, fill in the real estate site or other parent point of the building.

Create a building from the tree structure

1. In the [Equipment] module, select the [Equipment tree structure] function.
   → The tree structure form is displayed.
   
   
2. Go to the location point where the building is located (by clicking on its icon), then choose "Create a building" on the creation menu .
   → The building details form is displayed.
   Once the form is closed, the new point will be added to the tree structure below the selected point.

From the building detail sheet, the following actions are accessible:

• Create a diagnosis (if work orders are authorized for the building).
• Actions common to all structure points.
