This form describes the hourly cost of the material resource, as well as the time types during which it can be used (with the associated cost).

• Hourly rate: the default hourly cost, in the reference currency, initialized by the settings of the discipline associated with the material resource.

 

List of costs

This list is used to specify the cost multiplication coefficient for each time type.

Add one or several types of time by clicking on the add icon .
→ The application returns the selected types of time.

• Time type, Name: Cannot be modified on this list.
• Coefficient, Amount: If one is entered, the other is calculated. See the example below.
• Default time type: Check the time type to be used by default, so as to automatically initialize the cost of the material resource on work orders.

 

Example

The following time types are defined in CARL Source:

• DAY,
• NIGHT,
• WEEKEND.

 

If the material resource's hourly rate is 30 by day and 45 by night, you enter the following data:

• Hourly rate = 30
• DAY: coefficient = 1, amount = 30
• NIGHT: coefficient = 1.5, amount = 45
