In this tab you specify the following for a complex item (generally an asset):

• the items of which it consists: components.
• items in which it is a component: composite items.

These links will be displayed on the nomenclature network; see [Equipment tree structures].

• To add one or more items to one of the lists, click on the add icon .
  → The application displays the list of items. Select the ones to be added, then click on the confirm icon .

• To delete one or more lines from the list, select them and then click on the delete icon .

 

List of composite items

This list displays the items (or templates) in which the current item (or template) is declared as a component.

The composite items of the item may be declared from this tab.
Adding a line to the sub-list is the same as declaring an item as a server to the current item in the nomenclature structure.
When inserting a line, the quantity column will be initialized with a value of 1.

 

List of components

The components of the item can be declared in this tab.
Adding a line to the sub-list is the same as declaring an item as a client to the current item in the nomenclature structure.

• The item and name of the component or composite item cannot be changed.
• Quantity: Initialized to 1, can be changed. For example, the "bicycle" item is composed (among other things) of 2 "wheel" items.
