Automatic job
System > Automatic job

It is possible to program CARL Source so that certain tasks are performed automatically at regular intervals.
These tasks are based on existing job classes (see Standard jobs).

A certain number of tasks are offered as default in CARL Source. These can be enabled, specifying the setting required to run the associated Job.

For example:

You can decide on the frequency, day, and exact time at which each job is performed; see Execution interval.

This function is also used to:

An automatic job is performed with the indicated user's rights being checked.

Run results: You can configure CARL Source so as to receive an email if the automatic job ends with an error or a warning.

Accessing the list of automatic jobs

  1. In the [System] module, select the [Automatic jobs ]function.
    → The automatic job search form is displayed.

  2. Enter any search criteria and go to the [Results] tab.
    → The list of jobs corresponding to the criteria is displayed.
