Entering occupations
In the case of an occupation for a work order, making the entry is the same whether done:
But the occupation can only be linked to an operation in the first case.
Time verification
If the main time verification setting is enabled, when you validate entered occupations, CARL Source verifies that the total time entered for a technician in a day does not exceed the cumulative time of the time ranges indicated in his/her calendar (see Using the calendar).
CARL Source cannot verify that the time worked is equal to the duration of the availability ranges.

On 7 June, the technician has the following ranges in their calendar:

For this technician, occupations on 7 June can be, for example:
It will not be possible to enter an additional hour of CLEAN-UP for the day of 7 June.
However, it is possible to enter only 0.5 hours of meeting. There will therefore be 0.5 hours of availability devoted to no occupation.
