An inventory outage is to be declared whenever an item is necessary and is not present in inventory.

An inventory outage is a zero quantity movement tracked for information purposes. Outages are posted to the item statistics.

 

Declaring an inventory outage

1. From the item sheet, select "Declare a stock outage" on the actions menu .
   → A pop-up is displayed.
   
   
2. If applicable, complete the inventory movement information and click on the "Confirm" button.
   → The inventory outage is saved.
