An operation is an elementary task to be performed during a work order.
Operations are therefore used to specify the progress of a work order in several steps, each one corresponding to an operation.

The successive performance of operations will guide technicians in the implementation of the work order and entering the report, since, once an operation is checked as completed, it is also possible to fill in:

See Work order [Completed] [Operation].

An operation belongs to a theme. In this way, you can view the most frequently performed operations and their average duration according to theme ([Breakdown of operations by theme] report).

The detail form and the behavior of the operations can be customized according to the operation code.

 

Creating an operation

  1. Place the cursor in the [Work] module and select [Operation] from the [Configuration] section.
    → The list of operations is displayed.

  2. Select the [Criteria] tab, enter the search criteria and click the [Results] tab.
    → The list of operations corresponding to the criteria is displayed.

  3. From the list of operations, click on the add icon .
    → A new line is added in creation mode.

  4. Enter the code, name, unit cost, theme and class type, see Operation [Results].
    → It will be created upon confirmation.

Changing an operation

  1. From the list of operations, select the line and modify the desired information.
    → The changes will be taken into account upon confirmation.

 

Deleting an operation

  1. From the list of operations, select the ones to be deleted and then click on the delete icon .
    → The operations are deleted provided they are not linked to any work order or occupation.
