In order for indicators to be viewable where you need them, it is possible to link indicators to a screen.
Furthermore, indicators related to an entity can be displayed only in the detail form of that entity.
Screen indicators are customized according to user.
A person having sufficient rights, however, can distribute his/her configuration of a screen for all users.

Once the indicator has been added to the screen, you can also display it directly in the form in the customization mode; see Control values.
Examples
Indicators of a detail form
The following indicators take the "Asset" (ASSET) entity as a setting:
These indicators will necessarily be linked to the detail form of the asset, because they are only meaningful for a given asset.
You will also see them on the [Indicators] tab of the asset tree structure.
