Cause of failure
Work > Troubleshooting assistance > Cause of failure

Causes of failure are entered to specify the work orders.
They can thus be used to deduce the possible remedies and therefore facilitate the work order; see Troubleshooting assistance.

 

Creating a cause of failure

  1. Place the cursor in the [Work] module and select [Causes of failure] from the [Configuration] section.
    → The list of causes is displayed.

  2. Select the [Criteria] tab, enter the search criteria and click the [Results] tab.
    → The list of causes corresponding to the criteria is displayed.

  3. Click on the add icon .
    → A new line is added in creation mode.

  4. Fill in the code and name of the cause.
    → It will be created upon confirmation.
The list of causes of failure can also be accessed from the work order and the template (see Work order [General] and Template [Troubleshooting]).

 

Changing a cause

  1. From the list of causes, select the line and modify the desired information.
    → The changes will be taken into account upon confirmation.

 

Deleting a cause

  1. From the list of causes, select the ones to be deleted and then click on the delete icon .
    → The symptoms are deleted provided they are not linked to any work order or template.
