General
- Code (mandatory): GIS mapping identifier, unique in the application.
- Description: Description of the GIS mapping.
- Tree structure: The tree structure in which this mapping will be displayed.
- Status: Status of the ArcGIS® mapping ("Active", "Inactive" or "Cancelled" - see Change status). This status only conditions interactions with the form.
Access to the Viewer, however, is independent of the mapping status (except if the latter is deleted).
- Main map: Checkbox when you want to define the map as the main one. Several ArcGIS® maps can be created in CARL Source, but only one is defined as main.
- SRID (Spatial Reference): Coordinate systems linked to the map. Only SRID 2154 and 3857 are allowed.
- Basemap: Associated basemap. Only basemaps with the same SRID are allowed.
- Selection color: Color used in the map when selecting an element.
- Highlight color: Color used in the map when highlighting an element.
List of layers
In the layer table, it is possible to associate with the configuration 3 different types of layers:
- CARL Source layer that points to CMMS Equipment and Work data
- External layer that points to data external to the CMMS. It is possible to associate layers in Geojson or WFS format
- Grouping layer that allows organizing the table of contents in the Viewer.
- Icons:
By clicking on this icon, you access the settings of external data layers (Geojson and WFS)
By clicking on this icon, you access the pop-up allowing you to define the attributes on which the search is launched.
Only alphanumeric criteria are selectable. You can search on attributes present in CARL and External layers.
- Type: Type of the layer (not editable) (CARL_WFS, GROUP, WFS).
- Label: Label of the layer.
- Min zoom: Zoom level below which data is not displayed.
- Max zoom: Zoom level above which data is not displayed.
- Selectable: Checkbox when you want to be able to select one or more elements associated with this layer in the map.
- Visible: Checkbox when you want your layer to be visible by default as soon as the map opens.
- Order: Display order of the layer in the Viewer’s table of contents.
- Filter: Filter associated with the layer. The filter limits the data displayed in the Viewer. Only public filters are allowed.
- Grouping layer: Layer associated with the CARL or External layer.
Focus on external layers:
- GeoJson layer: It is possible to create a GeoJson layer either by directly entering the URL or by associating a "Geojson spatial data document".
- WFS layer: It is possible to create a WFS layer by entering the following parameters:
- Service URL
- Service version
- Layer name
- Data type
Only external layers with the same SRID as the configuration are visible in the Viewer.
Layer details
- Geometry: Type of geometry associated with the layer (Point-Line-Polygon).
- Representation/Style: Style associated with the layer.
- Visible style: Checkbox when you want to show or hide a style.
- Preview: Allows you to view the associated style.
