This tab allows you to define the constraints to apply in order to achieve the most accurate optimization that aligns with your needs.
Depending on your needs, it is essential to study all the constraints to identify those that can enable the best possible optimization.
The constraints can be combined with each other.
Add Constraints
To add one or more constraints, select
Multiple Add in the add menu

:
→ The list of constraints will be displayed. Check the constraints you want to add and click

.
→ The selected constraint(s) will be transferred to the constraint list.
- Code: Code of the constraint, non-modifiable,
- Label: Label of the constraint, non-modifiable,
- Level: Dropdown list of the constraint level to apply. The values offered are those defined in the optimization constraint,
- Active: If checked, the constraint will be applied during optimization. By default, this value is checked,
-
Weight: Weight of the constraint. By default, the value is set to 1. Increasing the weight gives more importance to the constraint.
Optimization constraints defined as mandatory in the optimization constraints feature are added by default when creating an optimization model.
The values of a constraint are configurable if the constraint is checked as modifiable in the "Optimization Constraints" feature.
Configure Sub Parameters
By clicking the icon
, you can access the additional configuration of a constraint.
- Parameter: Code of the subparameter,
- Label: Description of the subparameter with possible values,
- Value: Value of the subparameter.
