This tab contains the general information of a constraint and any possible sub-parameters.
General Information
- Code: The code of the constraint.
- Label: The label of the constraint.
- Required: If checked, it is required for the optimization engine. Automatically initialized in an optimization model.
- Active: If checked, it is selectable in an optimization model.
- Editable: If checked, it is editable in the optimization model.
- Constraint level: Applicable constraint level(s). It is possible to choose from 1 to 3 levels.
- Comment: A detailed description of the constraint.
Parameters
Some constraints have sub-parameters that allow fine-tuning of the optimization rules.
- Parameter: Code of the sub-parameter.
- Label: Label of the sub-parameter model to which the range refers.
- Default value: The default value of the sub-parameter.
3 constraint levels are possible:
- Strong: The constraint with this level must be strictly followed in the proposed solution.
- Medium: The constraint with this level should be followed as best as possible, but it may not always be respected.
- Flexible: The constraint with this level is used to best improve the proposed solution without needing to strictly follow it.
