Configuration of languages [Result]
Customization > Language settings > Configuration of languages [Result]

This form contains the languages loaded in the application. See Result form.

It can be used to enable and check the availability of languages for application users, as well as to define the default language, in particular when a user is created.

For each language, the locales allow you to identify a specific region to be found in the application.
One standard locale per language is loaded as default.

Language details

The number of enabled languages allowed can be 2 or unlimited, depending on the license purchased for the product.

 Language locale

At least one locale per language is required in the application. It represents a specific region for a language.

To add a locale, add a line and select the corresponding code from the proposed list.
For example: en_GB for "English - United Kingdom", fr_FR for "French - France".

Standard locales cannot be deleted.

actions available for business data translation

Multilingual translation of business data can be enabled. This enables the translation of user-specific data in addition to the default names. For further details, see the explanation of translation in an international context.

To enable this feature, you need to have at least 2 enabled languages. Open themenu, and select the Enable business data translations action.

To stop translating business data for a particular language, a Disable business data translations action is also available in the menu.

Enabling and disabling business data translations globally checks or unchecks the Translatable property of dictionary objects, as well as some of their attributes. Adjustments to add or remove translatable elements are still possible after these global changes.
